KOTETSU – SANTA CLARA, CA (BAY AREA)

Came here around 8:30pm and still had to wait a good 40 minutes. Put your name on the list and wait for your name to be call. This place is small, maybe about 15 tables, always busy but service is good.

We had the followings:

Chicken Karrage – chicken crispy and hot, it was juicy … it could use a little more flavor. With a bit Japanese Mayo and lemon, the Chicken Karrage was pretty good.

Tako Wasabi (Octopus Wasabi) – for $3 is not an bad appetizer, hubby loved these little raw octopus with wasabi sauce.

Kotetsu Kuro (black) and Kotetsu Shiro (white) – both broth were super rich, fatty and flavorful. Kur0 taste a bit more intense. However, after a little bit of eating, you probably couldn’t tell the difference. Both soup broth were salty, but my mouth gotten use to it. The pork were paper thin slice.

Perfect Al Dente noodles.

Soft Boil Egg – perfect! This is exactly how I like my soft boil egg, runny yolk!
