Wanted to try something different and decided to try out The Scottish Arm. Decor has a bit of UK pub feel with lots of dark wood flooring and tables. Service was very nice. We were there kind of late, plenty of tables, no reseravation needed.
One page menu.
To start off, we had the Charcuterie Plank – cured meat and pickled veggies, a little disappointed, the cured meat was extremely hard and chewy. The most enjoyable part was the sweet veggies or fruit in the tin cup (I forgot what it was).
Braised Lamb Shank – I tried a bit of the lamb, it was pretty good. Very moist and super tender with a hint of red wine flavor.
Crispy Seared Duck Breast – another disappointment. The duck skin was crispy but I would prefer my duck to a little more tender and juicy, this just looks a little too dry. The oyster mushroom was loaded with sodium … just way too much. I had to gobble down a full glass of water just for the oyster mushroom.
Total bill was approximately $65 + tips. I would only come here again if someone ask me to.
