One of a restaurant my boss took us there for our project completion. It has a convenient parking and upscale decor. We had an early reservation at 6:30pm, so plenty of open tables and it was Halloween night 😛
One page menu, it changes depending on seasonal ingredients.
Complimentary Bread – nice touch for the start.
Butchery Board – a select of charcuterie, all were pretty good … loved the whole grain mustard served.
Roasted Akaushi Wagyu Bone Marrow – its roasted with pistachio herb, it really gives it a nutty flavor, it was creamy and savory.
Duck Confit Salad – served on roasted squash. The butter-fig vinaigrette was really good, perfect balance with the blue cheese. I was very full after this salad. The squash really filled me up.
Beeman Ranch Akaushi Wagyu Strip Loin – the most disappointed dish of the night. Akaushi Wagyu Strip Loin supposed to be a really good cut steak. I ordered medium rare … it was hard and over cooked for medium rare, just too dry for my liking. I should’ve ordered the Filet Mignon on the safe side. The brussel sprouts was better than the steak.
House Made Ice Cream Trio – MUST GET!! One of the best ice cream I had, totally home made … all have very fresh distinct flavors. Just have to try.
Double Star Farms Apple Crisp – it was so so.
Gooey Butter Brownie – it has a nice chocolate flavor, but it was way too rich for me.
Overall, it was an very expensive meal, with medi-core food. I didn’t take pictures of all the food. Total was about $270 for 4.
