Let me start by saying that this is one of the best Japanese Yakitori place I’ve been to for a while. This place is small and gets extremely busy weekend night. We came here on a Friday night around 8:45pm, but still had to wait about 1 hour. They do take reservation, I will definitely call next time.

Apparently, this place uses Japanese Bincho-tan 備長炭 or traditional Japanese Charcoal. This type of charcoal has a lower temperature than normal charcoal, but its preferred by many Japanese chefs because it does not release too much smoke or unpleasant odors.

This place is not cheap. This meal was about $60 (11 skewers, grill squid, and green tea creme brulee).
I don’t mind coming here once a while.
