Our boss always treats us to a nice steakhouse when we finished our project. This time is Kreis’ Restaurant, one of most well known prime rib restaurant in St. Louis. And I have to agree with that, their prime ribs are GOOD!
Kreis’ has an old school upscale ambiance and you can tell the customers are regulars. This place does get really busy even on regular weekdays, reservation is a must. It took us a while to find a parking on a Wednesday evening!
My boss definitely ordered too much appetizers for 4 of us!!
Fried Calarami — Fried Mushrooms — Crab Cakes (so good) — Seared Tuna
Must get the Prime Rib, I got the king cut and medium rare – juicy, tender and flavorful!! Of course with left overs to take home! Queen cut is a good for 1 meal, so I prefer the King cut with left overs to take home 🙂

They do sold out prime rib on some nights … if you go there around 9pm on weekends, call first.
