PARIS FRANCE DAY 6 – EIFFEL TOWER

Another day in Paris, to start my day, of course I did a good cup of coffee and perfect Paris pastry. We went to the same cafe we went yesterday to have breakfast. I had something a similar to yesterday, Apricot Tart – this actually a thicker tart. Topping was good, a little sweeter than the one I ate yesterday. I personally like the one I had yesterday, coffee was good!

The must visit attraction for today was Eiffel Tower. Line was pretty long, but not too bad. I was here last year Jan 2014, more people at that time. This time in Feb 2015, much colder and less people.

You really have to come here in person to realize how magnificent this Paris structure is. It is gigantic! You can buy ticket with lift that takes you to the second level, or you can buy cheaper ticket and walk the stairs. Pay the extra and buy the life ticket 🙂

We ended our Paris trip by paying a short visit to beautiful romantic Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe.

We ate a simple dinner at a restaurant near our hotel and called it a day.

PARIS FRANCE DAY 5

We were a lot better after a night of rest, today’s agenda was Louvre Museum. We must go the Louvre today, because they close on Tuesday.

We started of with a very delighted breakfast. I have to admit, Paris has the most beautiful, bountiful bakery shops, I can’t get enough of their pastry! All the pastries in Paris are delicious!!!

This little bakery is located across from our hotel. It is a little place, but the best pastry I’ve eaten in Paris this trip – Les Caprices de Charlotte.

Apricot Tart – my absolute favorite! Each pieces of apricot were delightful with a hit of sourness, the light cream custard layer gives it a little sweetness. The crust was light and fluffy. It was simply good!

Apple Tart – I didn’t eat that, my boss ordered this. But it sure looks good too!

We were pretty tired after the Louvre, just stopped by a local restaurant for quick dinner.
